У статті проаналізовано заходи зі збереження та актуалізації нерухомих об’єктів культурної спадщини міста Луцька в 1990-х рр. — першої чверті ХХІ ст. Увага звертається на реалізацію державної політики у галузі охорони пам’яток; упровадження норм вітчизняного законодавства, зокрема щодо обліку об’єктів культурної спадщини, розробки історико-архітектурного опорного плану міста; втілення низки програм, що сприяли охороні нерухомих пам’яток, їх інтеграції в соціокультурне життя громади. Проаналізовано сильні й слабкі сторони пам’яткоохоронних заходів, сформульовано практичні рекомендації щодо подальшої ефективної охорони та використання нерухомої культурної спадщини обласного центру Волинської обл.
